Dear Editor,
Solutions to many issues can be found if legislators are motivated to find them. For instance, I recently emailed Sen. Barbara Kirkmeyer asking her to co-author a couple of bills with me for implementing solutions to the housing crisis and student safety. As of Jan. 8, the senator has failed to respond.
I remain focused on finding solutions to help our citizens in Colorado, especially those living with mental illness who cannot afford treatment, unhoused veterans and others dealing with an overcrowded shelter system. I can only hope that Sen. Kirkmeyer will have the courtesy to respond if she would be willing to co-author a couple of bills with me.
